About our Pastor
My husband and I are both United Methodist pastors, so you could say ministry is a family affair. He serves Westford UMC, and we are blessed with two wonderful adult children, Amanda and Gregory. I am deeply grateful for the love, laughter, and encouragement my family brings to both my life and my ministry.
After earning my Master of Divinity from Emory University, I have participated in ministries for twenty years. I am grateful to serve this congregation as my second appointment from Bishop Bickerton, and I feel blessed to be part of a church with such rich stories, faithful people, and big hearts.
My faith is centered on God's love made visible in Jesus Christ, who came to live among us and show us the heart of God. I believe God's grace meets every person where they are, transforms us through love, and calls us into a community where everyone is welcomed and valued. Together, we seek to share Christ's love by bringing healing, hope, justice, and peace to our neighbors and our world.
I’m also deeply grateful for the many people God has placed alongside me on this journey. Along with the caring support and guidance of our District Superintendent, Rev. Megan, I’ve been blessed by the New England Korean Women Clergy group, dear clergy friends who have become like family, and my wonderful mentor, Rev. Mitchell. Their wisdom, kindness, and faithful encouragement have shaped me not only as a pastor but also as a follower of Christ. They remind me that ministry is never meant to be a solo journey, it is a gift we share together through God's grace.
Outside of church, you'll often find me reading novels at the beach, jogging while singing, or enthusiastically singing in the car. After recovering from serious car accidents, I discovered that singing, and even a little dancing behind the wheel - only when stopped, of course! - became a joyful way to relax. So if you happen to pull up next to me at a red light, don't be surprised if you catch me giving a full concert performance!
